...after enjoying some of Argyll's most stunning scenery (put a roof over Scotland and it would be more popular than Florida, Tenerife and St.Tropez rolled into one), we arrived at the picture postcard Creggans Inn.
Run by the friendly MacLellan family, the bar cum restaurant cum hotel (check out the smart rooms at www.creggans-inn.co.uk) enjoys jaw-dropping views across Loch Fyne to Inveraray and, as we found a few minutes later, the food is also pretty breathtaking...

JUST my luck. I go to write my first undercover restaurant critique and get landed with a restaurant which is extremely difficult to be critical of.
My husband and I visited The Creggans Inn, at Strachur, in Argyll, and as he commented as we finished our meal: “You can’t top that.”
